The working voltage is about twice that of nickel cadmium rechargeable batteries. Charged at a voltage of 3.0 to 3.3V, it has a high discharge voltage of 2.8V when at 10% of its rated capacity (discharge depth of 10 or less).

Excellent discharge characteristics

Each time the discharge reaches 10% of the rated capacity (discharge depth=10), there are 1000 discharge cycles. The total discharge capacity is equivalent to 100 times the rated capacity.

Wide range of use from minus 20 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius

Stable operating voltage is displayed within the temperature range of minus 20 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius.

Low self discharge performance and superior leakage resistance

Under the condition of 20 degrees, the annual self discharge should not exceed 2%. Under storage conditions of 20 degrees for 5 years, theoretically it can still maintain 95% capacity (according to the acceleration test conducted by MAXELL). Due to the use of organic electrolytes, this battery has superior leakage resistance.

Excellent overcharging performance

Due to the use of a specially formulated organic electrolyte, Maxell’s ML battery can still provide stable discharge characteristics even after a year of 3.3 V charging at 20 degrees Celsius. (According to the acceleration test conducted by MAXELL).
